Let there be light. There's a junction box on the back of my workshop that goes to an overhead motion sensor yard light. I've eyeballed that box for a while and thought it would be a great place for a dusk to dawn light fixture. So this one seemed to be exactly what I needed. It has an E26 base for the light bulb. E26 is the standard light bulb that was in our houses for the last 100 years. That seems to be tidally changing but for now there are still many in use and we're familiar with them. I spent an afternoon installing this light and it's nice to have light at the backdoor to the shop at night. It looks like a lantern and the bulb is visible through clear tempered glass. You can use an incandescent bulb no more than 60 watts, an LED, or a curly CFL. The bottom is open so water and dead bugs fall out. It had nice long leads at the black, white, and ground wires. It's a nice looking light. Kind of a standard "porch" light. I'm not serious about design and style but it may tickle your fancy or match your current outdoor decorating motif. It's UL approved and lights up where I need it.

This light, like most light fixtures if we're being honest, was quite easy to set up. It is fully assembled out of the box, so all you have to do is connect the wires. The light does not come with the pictured fancy light bulb, which I expected, so I just used a based LED bulb, which is fine, but it doesn't look quite as fancy as the official product picture. I did like that the mounting bracket has a very easy to use leveling capability so that if your electrical box is crooked, the light doesn't have to be crooked with it. While I don't intend to use the automatic on/off feature much myself, it is also nice to know that if I do accidentally leave the switch on, it will automatically turn off and save a little electricity during the day. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this light fixture!
